Transportation of yankee dryer for the second paper machine of tissue paper plant in Sovetsk, Tula region (the start of the plant is scheduled for the second quarter of 2014) was completed on September 2013.

Yankee dryer was produced by English company PMT Industries Limited and has dimensions of 9 metres length, 5,6 metres width, 5.6 metres height and weight of 154,2 tonnes.

The equipment was transhiped  at Saint-Petersburg sea port from sea-going vessel to flattop barge and after the river transportation to Tula region, RO-RO discharged at the  temporary berth located  on Oka river near Bunyrevo  for the further delivery to the construction site.

The projects of lashing securing stowage and towage was developed to guarantee the safety of cargo operations.
